WESTPORT — Interim Superintendent Thomas F. Aubin reports that the Westport Community Schools will remain open despite rising COVID-19 cases in the Town of Westport. On Thursday, Nov. 12, the Town of Westport posted a message on its homepage stating that effective Monday, Nov. 16, all Town buildings will be closed to the public except by appointment only. This is due to positive COVID-19 cases increasing in town over the past several weeks. This order does not include the Westport Community Schools. Students Will Begin School Sept. 16 with Mix of Remote, Hybrid and In-Person Learning WESTPORT — Superintendent Gary Reese announces that the Westport Community Schools will follow a combination of remote, hybrid and in-person learning this fall for the start of the 2020-21 school year. Gov. Baker Announced Extends Statewide School Closure Through End of School Year WESTPORT —  Westport Community Schools announces that, in accordance with a new order from Gov.
