Parents are encouraged to recognize progress and address areas of needed improvement with their child. *Progress Reports do not go in a student’s permanent record, rather it is used to share current progress until Report Cards on December 14th.

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 11th to observe Veterans’ Day.  Wednesday, November 25th will be an early release for students and staff to start the Thanksgiving break.  Parents pick up will begin at 11:40 and buses will leave WES at noon and then head out to pick up Macomber students.

Assistant Superintendent and Junior Senior High School Principal Thomas Aubin Named Interim Superintendent WESTPORT — The Westport School Committee reports that Superintendent Dr. Gary Reese, who has been on a leave of absence since Sept. 18, 2020, will be resigning effective Nov. 30. Acting Superintendent Thomas F. Aubin will serve as the Interim Superintendent going forward. Mr. Aubin has been at the forefront of implementing the district’s COVID-19 re-entry plan since Dr. Reese’s leave of absence.
